But instead of bringing the manager, the waiter kept apologizing repeatedly. He said things like:
“Please forgive us.”
“We will solve the problem right away.”
“We will replace the dish for free as compensation.”
He insisted on handling it himself and never brought the manager, no matter how many times we asked.
At that moment, we didn’t know if they were trying to hide something or simply avoid getting the manager involved… but the whole situation felt strange and unforgettable.
