cheesy beef puff pastry pockets

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff pastry
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 cup Cheese (such as mozzarella, cheddar, or preferred melting cheese)
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika, etc.)
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash)

    Directions

     

     

    1. Cook ground beef with onions, garlic, and seasonings until browned; set aside.
    2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into squares or rectangles.
    3. Spoon beef mixture onto pastry squares, top with cheese and fold over.
    4. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal the pockets.
    5. Brush with egg wash and bake until golden and bubbly.
    6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

    Preheat the oven as per puff pastry package instructions.
